Mom work is Kingdom work.
Whether you go to work or stay home, have one kid or ten, have biological, adopted, or foster children-mom work is Kingdom work.
We are raising and shaping the next generation of believers. Our time spent with our kids is important and holy and meaningful, even when it doesn’t feel like it. Committing ourselves to view the daily mundane and difficult as Kingdom work brings a new and beautiful perspective. Living out a life in obedience to God by giving over our diaper changing, taxi driving, homework helping, soccer practice, boo-boo kissing tasks daily to Him in worship sets an example and teaches our kids to do the same.
The work moms are doing day in and day out can be exhausting, lonely, and overwhelming…but looking at it through a Kingdom work lens makes everything SO much sweeter.
“Your descendants will become like the dust of the earth; you will spread out to the west, east, north, and south. Every family will be blessed because of you and your descendants.” Genesis 28:14
